Each year we gather in the garden (Dallas Arboretum Map) to begin our observance of Easter weekend on the evening of Maundy Thursday. On the night in which he was betrayed, Jesus gathered his disciples for the Last Supper. After breaking bread and passing the cup, when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. They went to the Garden of Gethsemane for prayer. Likewise, we gather at Fogelson Fountain (#13 on the map link above) for the Lord's Supper, then proceed into the Lay Ornamental Garden (#20) for a brief service of worship. Parking is available at the Lakeland Drive entrance (#27 on the map). Note: To find these location #'s look in the lower right quadrant of the map.
