home groups

Home Groups are the primary small group ministry of New St. Peters. They are venues for life together where we gather regularly for prayer, fellowship and close care. We are to live with one another, not merely around one another. When we live together, we are reminded of God's faithfulness to his people; when we live together our sin is exposed; when we live together we experience God's mercy and grace; when we live together we are stirred to love and good deeds in Christ's gospel.

We encourage you to visit and get involved in one of the following Home Groups. Each group welcomes children of all ages. We know that commitment to a Home Group may not fit into the scheme of life for everyone. However, it is our “frontline” for intercessory ministry, so we want to make it readily accessible to all who desire to enter more deeply into friendship and mutual care with other believers.

CHAMBERS HOME GROUP

Meets in Lake Highlands area homes on 1 st and 3 rd Sundays at 4:30 PM … fellowship, sharing, prayer.

HAMBLEN HOME GROUP

Meets in East Dallas area homes on 3 rd Fridays at 6:30 PM … fellowship, prayer and dinner.

LINTON HOME GROUP

This group is newly forming in East Dallas. An organizational meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 18.

MAY HOME GROUP

Meets in the M-Streets area south of Mockingbird on 1 st Saturdays at 5:30 PM … dinner and a book discussion – currently The Enemy Within by Kris Lundgaard.

MCCORD HOME GROUP

Meets in Richardson on 2 nd and 4 th Sundays for lunch … fellowship and prayer.

RATLIFF HOME GROUP

Meets in Lake Highlands area homes one Saturday each month at 5:00 PM … fellowship, family worship, prayer and dinner.

SHANNON HOME GROUP

Meets in East Dallas homes two Sundays each month at 4:30 PM … fellowship, sermon discussion and prayer.

STARNES HOME GROUP

Meets in various members homes on 2 nd Saturdays at 6:30 PM and on 4 th Sundays for family lunch … fellowship, family worship and prayer.

VAN VESSEM HOME GROUP

Meets in Lake Highlands area homes once each month at 5:00 PM … fellowship, dinner, singing, prayer and a study of The Westminster Shorter Catechism.

BUELL HOME GROUP… This group is currently filled to capacity.

Meets in east Lake Highlands on the last Saturday of the month at 5:30 PM … fellowship, family worship, singing and prayer followed by dinner.

BROWN HOME GROUP… This group is currently filled to capacity.

Meets in Lake Highlands area homes every other Sunday at 7:00 PM … one Sunday is a book discussion; the next Sunday is for fellowship and prayer.

MILLER HOME GROUP… This group is currently filled to capacity.

Meets in North White Rock Lake area homes two Sundays each month at 4:00 PM … fellowship, prayer and dinner.

LAMBERT HOME GROUP 1… This group is currently filled to capacity.

Meets in Lakewood area homes south of Mockingbird on 3 rd Sundays at 5:00 PM … fellowship and prayer.
