What to Expect

The Dallas Children's Theater, also known as the Rosewood Center for Family Arts, is located on the northeast corner of Skillman and Northwest Highway. As you enter the main lobby of the Theater you will see a Visitor's Information Table to the right. Please stop for a name tag and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Straight ahead you will see a table with a basket full of Bulletins. Pick one up - you will need it for the liturgy in the Worship Service. A bell will ring inside the Theater at 9:30 am signaling the start of the Worship Service. Our Service normally concludes between 10:45 and 11:00 am. Also see our Frequently Asked Questions page.

A word about Worship Training:Gathering the kids for the Worship Training lesson.Gathering the kids for the Worship Training lesson.
As parents we love our children, but we must admit that children make things difficult. They make it difficult to come to church, sit down, take a deep breath, and focus our attention. We were all made to worship, but we don't know how until someone shows us. With this in mind, we seek to train our children to worship God. Our goal is to prepare them to enter into the "big" Worship Service with their parents, better able to listen and engage with the liturgy as they grow in maturity. In Worship Training, leaders guide the children in singing, prayer, a simple liturgy and a curriculum lesson with age appropriate activities. This is a time of engagement with leaders to help our young ones focus on their purpose which is to worship their Creator, Redeemer and King.

Parents are asked to pick up their children immediately following the service.
Then you are welcome to return to the lobby or the Theater for conversation and fellowship.
